Chapter 76 Newt Scamander
This trip to Albania was basically safe and sound.
Except for the fact that a female ghost got into Rove's room on the first night; on the second day, the express train was blocked by heavy snow and stopped for four hours on the European Plain; when passing through the Pyrenees Mountains, it was harassed by a group of rune horses...
On the whole, it was generally safe and sound.
On the evening of the third day, Rove finally arrived at the end of the journey. He walked out of the train quickly with a small black suitcase, turned around and smiled:
"Okay, Mr. Weasley...you don't have to see me off anymore."
"Be careful, kid." Mrs. Weasley warned.
"Well, I will. Thank you for taking care of me for a few days." Rove smiled and said, "When you arrive in Romania, please convey my regards to Charlie."
This trip was indeed the most comfortable one for him. Someone helped him cook, someone protected him, and when he had nothing to do, there was a little girl he could bully.
The express train started again. Ginny leaned on the window and shouted, "Rolf, don't forget to send me a Christmas present!"
Rolf waved and watched everyone leave. The express train swept up the dust and roared through the wizard village. Leaves flew on the track behind him.
The boy was at a very dilapidated platform. On the left was the vast forest of Albania, and on the right was a wizard village.
Newt was in the forest!
There were not many passengers getting off the train. Rolf easily found the ghost Ms. Grey not far away.
She was really haunting.
Since that night, she often followed Rolf, broke into the carriage in the middle of the night, and stared at him...but the boy had no way to deal with it. After all, his magic could not work on ghosts.
Rolf walked over, looking helpless, and sighed: "Ms. Grey, how can you not follow me? I really don't smell like your mother.
If you really like the smell of me, I can give you my original clothes, and you can take them back and smell them every day?"
"I didn't follow you here. I was going to get off here." Ms. Grey was silent for a moment, and said in a low voice:
"In fact, I come here every year, and it has been going on for centuries."
The woman looked into the depths of the forest, with mixed feelings, sighed slightly, and said sadly:
"I was killed in this forest on Christmas Day."
"..."Come back to visit your own grave, right?
Just then, a group of wizards came from a tavern in the village, led by a short wizard.
Ms. Grey probably didn't want to see other strangers. She walked slowly, brushed past Rolf, and floated to the forest of Albania.
"Mr. Scamander, I am a wizard from the Albanian Ministry of Magic... Do you remember me?" The short wizard said enthusiastically.
"I invited Mr. Scamander to Albania."
"Remember, Mr. Red, are you going to conduct a routine inspection on me according to the Statute of Secrecy? I'm familiar with this!"
Rolf took the initiative to hand over the box. He found that a good magical zoologist is very knowledgeable about the law. After all, they are often subject to endless scrutiny. It is a kind of doctor who has been sick for a long time.
"No..." Red waved his hand and said embarrassedly: "I came to you today to discuss something with you."
"What?" Rolf asked doubtfully.
"The large-scale death of animals in the Albanian forest has disappeared. We are very grateful for Mr. Scamander's help and will give him a large reward." Red pleaded:
"But can you persuade your grandfather to return to Romania or England?"
"..."
Just then, a roar sounded from the depths of the forest. Rolf looked up and saw a six or seven-meter-long fire dragon flying from the depths of the forest.
It was a Romanian long-horned dragon with black and green scales and two shining golden horns.
On the two golden horns, there was an oil lamp and a somewhat worn-out box.
An old man with gray hair sat cross-legged on the head of the fire dragon, holding a book in one hand and turning the pages with the other hand in the light.
He turned the pages very slowly, and the fire dragon under his buttocks flew very steadily, with almost no shaking.
The fire dragon flew towards the platform from the depths of the forest, and finally landed on the ground with a bang, splashing countless dust, and the momentum was particularly shocking.
All the Albanian wizards retreated in fear.
The old man who was sitting on the top of the fire dragon and reading quietly stood up, patted the dust on his thick windbreaker, and was about to jump down, but was horrified to find that the platform was full of wizards.
The old man's eyes under his bangs were a little evasive, and he didn't want to go down immediately. He slid down from the fire dragon's neck and hid behind the back.
"You all go back first, Mr. Reid." Rolf said, "I will persuade my grandfather to leave early."
After the Albanian wizards left, Rolf walked towards the fire dragon, patted the dragon's scales with his hand, and said with a smile:
"Did you steal someone's sheep? Sheep thief? Otherwise, everyone is so afraid of you?"
The black dragon hissed disdainfully, exhaled a few wisps of white smoke from its mouth and nose, and spread its wide wings and flapped the ground.
Newt poked his head out like a Vietcong, and found that the wizards had left, so he breathed a sigh of relief and said:
"No, I have been very good at restraining Vaghar recently."
"Then why does the Albanian Ministry of Magic want you to return to Romania?"
Rolf looked up at the energetic but autistic old man and asked softly:
"Grandpa, did the magical creatures in your box run out again and attack the Ministry of Magic?"
"Of course not!" Newt quickly denied, sitting down on the fire dragon and saying:
"Rolf, what they fear is not me, but Vhagar and the creatures in my box."
The old man said in a low voice: "Even if they are not in danger, even if I can restrain them, those wizards will still be afraid."
"Just like when you walk through a busy city with a lion, that lion has been tamed by you and will not attack Muggles. Muggles will still be instinctively afraid."
From the corner of his eye, Rolf spotted a Sniff creeping out of Newt's box and landing on the ground. He picked up its legs and hung it upside down in the air.
"Then go back." Rolf climbed up on the black dragon's wings. He sat next to Newt and said softly:
"The guy who killed the animals is not in the forest, why is he still here?"
The boy turned his head and stared into Newt's eyes: "Did you find anything else?"
Newt's eyes did not dodge this time, and he did not speak in a hurry. Instead, he raised his head and looked into the distance. Finally, he looked at the young man from far to near, and nodded:
"I found an old friend deep in the forest."
"It's not a witch, is it?" Luofu raised his eyebrows.
Newt breathed out a sigh of relief and said with a sad expression:
"She is indeed a witch. I haven't seen her for decades...I want to take her home."
"Who?"
"Nagini."
