Chapter 6 I Am a Doctor
At Rove's suggestion, Lovegood turned on the "Splatoon" mode, saying bad things about "Tom" who was right in front of him.
Rove Scamander, who was far away, became a perfect student, and was praised by him like a flower.
Rove almost laughed so hard that his stomach hurt. If he hadn't had a recorder, he would have recorded it and played it for him repeatedly.
But the boy still held his temper and didn't reveal his identity. After all, the witch named Downs was unknown and might be a fake name.
At this moment, a group of wizards surrounded a wizard and strode over.
The wizard wore a blue cloak and lifted his shiny curly blond hair. When he passed by Rove and his friends, he also blinked at Downs with his blue eyes.
"Don't worry, with Lockhart here, there's no need to be afraid of any dark wizards. Even if the one who robbed today was the Dark Lord, I will make him never come back!"
Lockhart's voice resounded throughout the train under the effect of magic, and many of his fans came out of the carriage to cheer and applaud him.
Encircled by the crowd, Lockhart came to the door of the train, threw his cloak, waved his hand and said:
"Help me wake up that bottle of Burgundy wine, I'll be back soon."
Lockhart strode out of the train with a wand, as if he was really ready to fight seven or eight dark wizards alone.
Downs couldn't help laughing and said, "It seems that someone is going to deal with that group of dark wizards!"
"Stinking show-off!" Lovegood pouted and said, "If he is caught, he will definitely be a hostage? He has to pay for his ransom, what a fool!"
Lovegood seemed to naturally dislike people who looked better than him.
Rolf turned and walked into his own carriage. He was ready to see the excitement. Downs and Lovegood followed him. The three of them squeezed by the window.
All the lights were turned on, illuminating an open space not far away as if it were daytime.
Lockhart, holding a wand, rushed towards the masked dark wizard alone.
The leading wizard blocked his way, shouted, and stammered: "I am a Death Eater... fighting... robbing... leaving 10,000... Galleons, I will spare your life!"
Lockhart laughed and said, "You blind thing, dare to touch the train I am on? Look at me defeating you Death Eaters today."
The dark wizard raised his wand, shot out a white light, and hit Lockhart's chest. He stood still and laughed at the sky.
Lockhart raised his wand, and the dark wizard was like being struck by lightning, trembling constantly, his body was like a sieve, and then flew backwards.
He lay on the ground, twitched twice, and seemed to have fainted.
Another short wizard ran over and shouted, "Fainted."
Lockhart dodged easily, he waved his hand from a distance, and said with a cool smile, "Get out of here!"
The short wizard seemed to be injured by invisible magic, spun a few circles in the air, and fell far away.
He lay on the ground, raised his arm and pointed at Lockhart, and said in a trembling voice:
"Who are you... I have never seen a wizard as powerful as you! It's even more powerful than Dumbledore!!"
Lockhart stretched out his palm, patted his chest, and said loudly:
"Remember, I am Gilderoy Lockhart, the third-class medal of the Order of Merlin, an honorary member of the Anti-Dark Magic League, and the five-time winner of the "Wizard Weekly" Most Charming Smile Award... But I don't talk about that, I didn't defeat you with a smile!"
The group of dark wizards turned and ran, Lockhart turned to the express, he waved and greeted, and countless witches cheered.
"This acting is too fake." Lovegood shook his head. He was a master at making up stories, so he could tell that they were all extras.
"Yeah." Downs crossed his arms and commented in a professional manner, "The actors invited from nowhere are really unprofessional."
Rove also shook his head. Lockhart's creativity was good, but unfortunately his acting was a bit poor.
It was very much like a small domestic movie... The movements were stiff, the lines were awkward, not as natural as those in the island countries, and not as simple and rough as those in Europe and the United States.
But it must be said that Lockhart's appearance was still good. If Lovegood or Snape came to perform this set, it would give people a sense of vulgarity and greasyness.
Since the so-called robbers were all actors invited by Lockhart, Rove immediately lost interest and said:
"I'm going to sleep, you all go back to your own compartment."
"Tom, where's your grandfather?" Downs looked around, and finally her eyes stopped on the black box on the bed. She asked, "Didn't you say you came with your grandfather?"
"He went to the restaurant to buy supper." Rove answered casually.
The witch pulled the corner of her mouth.
Just then, a shrill scream suddenly came from a distance, and someone in the aisle shouted heartbreakingly: "Dead, dead..."
"..."
Tangs suddenly turned pale, her whole body tensed up, and she turned and ran. Luo Fu thought about it, picked up his black suitcase, and followed him out.
Arriving at an unfamiliar carriage, Luo Fu saw a wizard lying on the ground.
He was about forty years old, of medium build, with broad shoulders and black curly hair. He lay stiffly on the floor, his lifeless eyes staring straight at the faded ceiling.
He clenched his fists, spread his arms, and there was a look of fear on his stiff face, which seemed to have a painful struggle before death.
The other one was a witch, who was not dead yet, but had fainted, with green rashes all over her body, floating in the air.
A middle-aged wizard strode over. He had tawny hair and thick eyebrows, and a pair of sharp eyes behind gold-rimmed glasses.
He was just walking with a slight limp but still walking like a tiger, and he shouted: "Therapist, is there a therapist on the train?!"
A therapist from the train ran over. He bent down to check the witch's injuries. He checked for a while, shook his head and said:
"Poisoned, but this kind of poison is not something I'm familiar with... Her respiratory organs are about to fail. She should be sent to St. Mungo's Hospital of Magic now, but it's probably too late."
At this time, surrounded by the crowd, Lockhart came over. He heard that there was an attack in the carriage and came to check.
"Let's see, I'm a great therapist too."
Lockhart pretended to squat down, first checked the witch's pupils, and then touched the witch's hot head. He shook his head and said decisively:
"It must have been a poison that killed her... most likely an African tree snake bite, which I've treated many times.
It's a pity that I wasn't here just now, dealing with those dark wizards, I could have saved her..."
Lockhart's words made the faces of the wizards present look even darker.
"Maybe I can take a look."
A crisp voice suddenly sounded.
Everyone turned to look, and a young man with clear eyes said seriously:
"I'm a... doctor."
