Chapter 6 Tony's Guilt
Ten minutes later.
"How about it, Tony, how do you feel about leaving your temporary home for the past few months? Do you feel reluctant to leave?"
Leon held Tony and Ethan in one hand and floated over the cave.
He joked: "This is a wonderful experience that ordinary people rarely encounter once in a lifetime. Why don't you come and share your thoughts?"
Tony's hair was messy in the wind: "You call this a wonderful experience? Damn it, Leon, if you hadn't become Superman, I would have found someone to arrange such a wonderful experience for you when I got back."
"Okay, okay, it seems that you are not in a good mood. It's my fault, I won't say anything anymore." Leon closed his mouth.
Ethan interrupted at the right time: "Well...Mr. Lyon, can I ask what you plan to do with the base below? Will it be left to the United States?"
Ethan has no good impression of American officials at all.
He believes that the United States must have reasons why these terrorists are so rampant.
Before Leon could answer, Tony spoke: "Destroy it. Destroy all these... Stark things."
He looked at the boxes of weapons and ammunition with the "Stark" logo below, his face as dull as water.
"No problem." Leon agreed and took the two of them to fly higher.
When he was far enough away, he fired heat rays from his eyes, instantly detonating the entire base's gunpowder.
boom!
Box after box of ammunition in the base exploded.
All the explosions were intertwined, creating a chain reaction. Fire covered the entire area, a mushroom cloud more than ten meters high suddenly rose, and gunpowder smoke quickly filled the air.
This relatively small terrorist organization base has become a thing of the past.
"It's so scary...it's all over." Ethan muttered in a low voice as his cheeks were burned by the high temperature of the explosion.
"It's over. This bad memory of yours has finally come to an end." Leon nodded.
"Next, I'll take you to the military base in Afghanistan."
"Tony's old friend is there and he will send you to America."
Leon turned around and flew out of the base: "But I won't be with you. After all, my strength is not suitable for the time being to be linked to my identity."
Ethan seemed to have other ideas, but looking at the ground a few hundred meters below, he wholeheartedly chose to obey the arrangement.
When Tony heard this, his expression that had been dull since he escaped from trouble suddenly changed.
He hesitated and said: "You said it's not suitable for the time being. In other words, are you planning to do something in the future, Leon?"
"Yes," Leon admitted, "there are some things I have wanted to do a long time ago, but I didn't take action because I lacked the strength."
His tone was calm: "After I go back, I can show my strength to all parties while dealing with these things."
"This way, even if my true identity is discovered in the future, those annoying flies won't attack me easily."
"We will talk about the specific matter when we get back."
Superman is so powerful and yet Lex Luthor is constantly jumping up and down looking for trouble.
Not to mention a young man like him who has only been exposed to the sun for half a year.
Leon has no doubt that once his physique and strength are exposed, covetous attention from all parties will immediately follow.
Unless he shows his invincible strength in advance and his attitude that he will never show mercy.
Otherwise, there will be constant trouble.
There is no doubt that most people in the world are fearful of power and not immoral.
"What, do you want to persuade me not to make too much noise?" Leon asked.
"No," Tony denied immediately, "I just..."
He paused for a long time, then took a long breath and spoke awkwardly.
"Leon, I, I want to say... I'm sorry that I didn't listen to your suggestion and shut down Stark's weapons department before."
Tony's face showed deep guilt.
This guilt is not for Leon, but for the ordinary people who were harmed by the arms sold by Stark.
More than a year ago.
When Stark Group's electronic product business spread all over the world.
Lyon has proposed cutting up and shutting down the arms business.
But Tony didn't take it seriously at the time. He just felt that Leon had just grown up and had never seen the world, which was too sad, so he got over it with a few words.
Thinking about it now, Tony only felt extremely guilty and guilty.
"There's no need to apologize..." Leon was a little surprised, but not too surprised.
He knew Tony would shut down the weapons department, but he didn't expect Tony to apologize.
God knows if Tony has made more than ten serious apologies in his life.
In the past, even if this guy made a mistake, he would only make up for it in other places. How could he admit his mistake?
It seems that Tony did "grow" a lot during the time he was kidnapped.
“The past cannot be undone. As the saying goes, it’s not too late to mend the cracks after a sheep is lost.”
"You can make up for your mistakes in the future, Tony."
Leon comforted in a gentle voice: "And the small arc generator you developed this time, can't it be popularized as a basic energy source and benefit the world?"
"I believe that the whole world will change and become better because of you in the future, so you should feel guilty when you should, but you can't stay guilty."
Tony listened to Leon's words quietly. It was rare that he didn't interrupt other people's long speeches.
After Leon finished speaking, Tony smiled: "Maybe you are right...well, there is also the matter of Obi..."
"There is definitely something wrong with Obadiah." Leon interrupted directly, "You will still hesitate even if I tell you now, so I will wait for you in Los Angeles, and then we will go directly to him to figure things out."
Tony subconsciously wanted to give some more advice. After all, he still had some hope for his uncle.
But he opened his mouth, but in the end he said nothing.
Instead, he nodded angrily: "I'll listen to you."
Hearing this, Leon couldn't help but raise the corners of his mouth.
It seems that this experience has improved his voice with Tony.
It is said that if you teach others, you will not learn; you will learn from things once you learn.
This is indeed the case.
After flying for a while, Leon landed in the desert with the two of them.
"Okay, I'll send you here. There's an army base eight kilometers ahead. Here, this is a flare gun. After I leave, if you shoot in the sky, someone will come looking for you."
Leon gave Tony the flare gun that he had received from the terrorist base, and then took off to leave.
"Wait a minute!" Tony shouted again hurriedly, "I forgot to mention, you remember to go back and take my armor home, and if the blueprints haven't been burned, take them back too!"
"Mom, Fake? Why didn't you tell me in advance when we were in the cave!"
"I don't think you can hold much more with both hands, so I'm talking now."
"Tony, I got it for you!"
Leon gestured his middle finger backward, soared into the sky, and broke through the sound barrier in the air to leave.
The two people who stayed on the ground blinked, watching Leon break away a trail of clouds as he left, and shrugged at each other.
"Will your brother not be discovered flying like this next to the military station?" Ethan asked.
Tony raised his eyebrows: "What about my brother? Didn't a guy who called himself Superman rescue us just now and then leave? We didn't even see his face clearly."
Ethan suddenly realized: "So this is how we should have escaped? That Superman is really a warm-hearted and good man!"
