Chapter 24: The God of Cursing
Although Matt was rescued, he was still in danger of death and was still under observation in the intensive care unit.
Schiller said to Strange: "Dr. Strange, I owe you a favor. If you need any help in the future, you can come to me."
Strange's face was not very good. After all, he was captured in the afternoon and had been in surgery for nearly ten hours. He said impatiently: "God bless me, don't see you again, weirdo."
Schiller said: "I believe you have seen my ability before, so I will give you another piece of advice. Be careful when driving."
Strange said: "Don't play these weird tricks with me. I'm going back to sleep."
After that, he left. Schiller shrugged. He knew that he could not change the fate of Doctor Strange. With Strange's current state, he would not listen to anything.
But it doesn't matter. When he begs for help and wants to treat the injury on his arm, he will naturally think of Schiller.
Schiller returned to the clinic and had a good sleep. When he woke up, he found that he had two more opportunities for random chats, which meant that he had a significant impact on two important characters in the plot. One should be Daredevil, Matt, and the other should be Spider-Man.
Schiller planned to use it once first. Now it seems that his ability is indeed in urgent need of strengthening. After seeing the accident of Daredevil Matt, he felt that his defense and evasion abilities were still not strong enough, especially the reaction speed. Even if he could flash, no one dared to say that he would be able to react in just a few tenths of a second. It was not okay to rely on the spider sense that was sometimes effective and sometimes not.
So Schiller opened the chat system and used a random chat.
Soon, his chat partner came, but strangely, this time the avatar was a little weird. The avatar frame was dark, and it seemed that only two eyes were shining.
As soon as the communication was connected, Schiller heard a string of language he could not understand from the other side.
All his chat partners before spoke English, even if Gu Yi communicated with him directly using brain waves, the meaning was easy to understand.
But this time he met this chat partner, who was talking in a gibberish, and Schiller couldn't understand a word.
He knocked on the system and said, "Can't the chat system translate? What language is the other party speaking?"
Because of Schiller's experience in his previous life, he had visited various universities, toured and communicated. In addition to English and Chinese, he also knew some languages of some European countries, but the other party's language seemed to be completely different from any of these languages. Schiller had never heard of this language.
The system gave a line of reply: "The chat system will automatically translate any language of the chat partner. If there is still incomprehensible content, it means that the host and the other party have different life forms, or to understand the other party's language, special brain organs are needed."
Schiller understood that the other party was definitely not a human. The long string of unknown sounds he made might require a designated brain organ to receive. It was not a language, but more like a signal. Schiller was a human and might not have the brain organs of their race, so naturally he couldn't understand what he was saying.
Schiller clicked on the avatar and saw that there were clearly written words on it - Nar, the god of symbionts.
He didn't expect that this random connection could actually connect to Knull.
The God of Symbiotes has been introduced in great detail in the comics related to the Venom series. In short, he is an ancient creature that has existed since the birth of the universe, the Lord of the Abyss. He created a weapon called the Black Death Sword, chopped off the head of a Celestial God, and then began to wreak havoc on other civilizations in the universe.
He studied the method of creating dark creatures, that is, splitting symbiotes. He led his army of symbiotes and the dragon army he created to run rampant in the universe.
Until one day, he ordered the symbiote army to attack the earth, and then was struck by a thunderbolt from the old man Thor, and most of the symbiotes he created were disconnected.
Most of the symbiotes are scattered throughout the universe, possessing various different lives, many of which are kind and rational aliens. This made the symbiotes realize that their creators' behavior of destroying civilization was evil, so they collectively rebelled.
After the rebellion, the symbiotes imprisoned their creator, the Symbiote God Knull, on a remote and desolate planet, the so-called Symbiote Mother Planet.
Schiller was not in a hurry to use the next chat opportunity immediately. Instead, he began to study what Knull was saying with great interest.
Since the connection began, Knull has been talking a lot, and the syllables that are completely incomprehensible are sent quickly.
The setting here is more reasonable. It is not like in the comics that the whole universe speaks English. Schiller can't understand a word of what the Symbiote God said, but the Symbiote God has been talking a lot over there, and Schiller has really found some patterns.
After Schiller's repeated confirmation, he finally knew what the Symbiote God wanted to express - he was cursing.
That's right, although not all the universe speaks English, all creatures in the universe have basically the same tone when cursing, and some dirty words will appear at a high frequency, just like the Symbiote God.
Schiller, hearing the syllable "Natalu" repeatedly appearing in the angry tone of the God of Symbiotes, guessed that this should be the same swear word starting with F in the language of the symbiotes.
So when the God of Symbiotes finished another long paragraph of cursing, he said lightly: "Natalu."
The other side was strangely silent.
After so many years of cursing, the God of Symbiotes was cursed back by the street.
Schiller guessed very accurately. The word was indeed a swear word in the language of the God of Symbiotes. The God of Symbiotes hit back at Schiller with a string of more angry words, but Schiller still just replied lightly: "Natalu."
After hearing it so many times, Schiller also learned several other swear words, and even learned the tongue flicking and pronunciation exactly the same.
The God of Symbiotes kept sending long speeches, and Schiller often picked a few of these words to curse back.
Anyway, the God of Symbiotes can't come over and beat him up along the network cable, so what if the Lord of the Abyss kills the Celestials?
He cursed at the God of Symbiotes while recalling the origin story of this ancient creature.
The God of Symbiotes is also quite unlucky. Regardless of whether it's good or bad, he is the scum that fell from his body. After the rebellion, he locked himself up and imprisoned their creator alone on a planet. And according to the current situation, it should have been imprisoned for a long time.
In fact, it's not difficult to understand his cursing. If it were Schiller, Schiller would also curse.
Then Schiller began to study the ability to copy the God of Symbiotes, but he was actually a little hesitant. He estimated that the ability of the God of Symbiotes was to create symbiotes, but Schiller didn't want this ability.
He clicked on the avatar and found that the four words of the ability to copy turned red, and a bracket appeared next to it, which read: "The other party's ability is mutating, please copy with caution."
This is the first time Schiller has discovered this phenomenon.
This has to start with the origin story of the God of Symbiotes.
After being imprisoned, the God of Symbiotes was not free, and of course he would try every means to escape. Schiller was better off being lucky than being early. Not long after the God of Symbiotes came up with this idea, Schiller connected with him.
The God of Symbiotes is a very ancient creature. Although it is not certain whether it is the first creature in the seventh universe, it must be one of the first few.
His strength comes more from his talent. His brain is not very useful. He can think of a way to escape, not by wisdom, but also by using his special nature. Schiller didn't read much about this part of the comics in his previous life, but he knew that the God of Symbiotes had different abilities in the offspring they created. Some were very strong, and some were very weak.
Some of the offspring of symbiotes have special abilities, and the God of Symbiotes intends to use this feature. He intends to create a special symbiote. He wants the offspring he split this time to have no entity, but to become a group of conscious smoke. When he transfers his consciousness to the body of this offspring, he can get rid of the shackles of the planet cage.
To be honest, this is not a very clever way, and it may not be possible to leave there, but the God of Symbiotes is imprisoned on a lonely planet. What else can he do if he doesn't find something to kill time? So his daily routine is only two-swearing and giving birth.
Just when he made this new offspring and was ready to transfer his consciousness, Schiller connected with him, so the ability of the God of Symbiotes was mutating, because he was transferring his consciousness to the new body, and his ability was also becoming the ability of the new body.
Generally speaking, if it is a connection object like the God of Symbiotes, it will be like a little spider that has not been bitten. Schiller can hardly copy his ability. The God of Symbiotes used to fight in the universe, relying on the powerful living abyss black death sword. Later, his ability to split dark creatures also came from his original nature. It was an ability that suddenly emerged after his defeat and fall, and there was no source.
Schiller couldn't copy these things, and even if he could, he wouldn't copy this ability. Why would he cut himself into pieces? And if things go wrong, these fragments he separated would unite and betray him, which is really unreliable.
So Schiller chose to copy the ability that was mutating without hesitation. If this ability was invisible or avoiding damage, then Schiller would make a lot of money. Even if it was like Venom, it could have a stronger power or become something like a battle suit, which would be good.
"Symbiote Gray Mist (special ability) has been loaded."
Schiller felt that he suddenly had another vision. He still used his eyes, but it was not him who could use the eyes. The signal received from the eyes was still transmitted to his brain.
He seemed to have copied a symbiote directly.
No, it seemed a little different. The ability of system copying would not bring any external objects to Schiller, nor could it copy the opponent's equipment or other physical objects.
For example, if Schiller copied Iron Man's abilities, he might be able to get Stark's genius brain, or his ability to develop equipment, but he couldn't get a finished mecha like the Mark 5.
The system can only copy the abilities of the chat partner, not things outside of him.
Schiller felt that there seemed to be an ignorant soul stuffed into his body. But it was not an external object, it was still himself. The symbiote did not become something like Venom that could leave the host at any time, but became a part of Schiller.
In short, it became the ability that the system loaded on Schiller and became a part of Schiller. Like other abilities that Schiller obtained from the system, it could not leave Schiller. If Schiller died, it would also perish, unable to escape, and even less likely to have a second host.
But it also has some characteristics of the symbiote, such as it can think. Schiller can feel that an area in his brain seems to have been changed, and the symbiote has become an organ of his brain. The communication between them is more like a dialogue between one personality and another personality.
This symbiote is indeed very special. Schiller will understand in the future that the God of Symbiotes added more ambitions when creating it.
After being copied by the system, the system made further changes to the symbiote in order to integrate the characteristics of the symbiote with the characteristics of the system's loading capacity. This caused it to become a life form that may be unique in the entire universe, and also an extremely powerful life form.
