Warhammer: I Am the Hammer of the Empire

Chapter 13 Greenskin Attack

In the telescope, the guy who pushed the forest aside was wearing black clothes, blending into the environment. He had a particularly huge leg gun on his waist, which was about the same height as a normal human. The leg gun was half a beam gun.

Compared with the noisy and large number of its kind, it seemed unsociable and quiet, even dangerous...

Alan Baier was about to shout that there was a greenskin, when he saw it suddenly look at his position, take out its thigh gun, and make a firing gesture, and then the barrel trembled violently.

Alan Baier immediately retreated to the east into the bunker, almost collapsing, and then he quickly realized that he could not be faster than a bullet. The greenskin did not fire at all, and no one except him knew that the greenskin was coming.

He quickly flashed a word in his mind, special warfare boy...

The lieutenant and the lieutenant looked at Alan Baier's abnormality and asked immediately. "Sergeant, what did I find?"

Alan Baier took a few long breaths. "Greenskin, he saw greenskins who were dressed neatly and blended into the forest."

They were immediately alert, looking around but found nothing, and comforted Alanbair.

"New recruits, there are no greenskins like that, it's okay, they will be noisy, chirping and charging, and will not hide themselves." The lieutenant looked around, as if he would shoot at the bullet in a second.

The lieutenant touched his shoulder directly and asked him to calm down.

But Alanbair did not crawl out of the fear just now for a long time. There is no doubt that if the greenskin was not afraid of the gunshots to expose himself, he would have closed his eyes and went to see the emperor.

Time passed by, and the two lieutenants did not find the so-called orcs. They comforted Alanbair that they thought too much, and there might be orcs planning a real attack.

Mr. John was also walking on the second floor with his teammates at this moment. "Platoon leader, it's time for them to change shifts."

The lieutenant was like a caring big sister, taking Alanbair to his room, but no matter what, he firmly believed that he was not hallucinating.

In his room, he kept thinking in a mess. Will the attack come? Will it not? What is that greenskin doing? Will he die?

When his breathing became rapid, Alanbair realized for the first time that he was so fragile, just like those new recruits.

But waiting would bring death. He walked out of the door and left the room, taking the laser gun he had carefully cleaned. No matter what, his comrades had to protect themselves.

The outpost was not big, with trenches and barbed wire. The light of the Lumen Tower illuminated the entire outpost within a thousand meters. Even the special warfare boy could not approach it in a completely comfortable situation.

There was no doubt that his worry should be illogical, but the uneasy feeling could not be dispelled for a long time.

He walked out of the room and came to the trench. There were basically no people there. There were a small number of maintenance personnel repairing the heavy grenade gun so that it could work with the best attitude.

Or put a large amount of explosive ammunition on the ground near the front line, bury it in the soil, and take out the wires, install pressure plates to make simple mines to strengthen the fortifications, but even so, there is still no sign of the large amount of explosives in the warehouse being used up, and there are not many veterans who can handle such things.

There were four platoons stationed in that place before, but now it is empty. A large number of personal belongings can be seen in many rooms, and corpses?

Maybe they were dragged back to their home planet, but Ailanbaier felt that the unknown imperial soldiers could become...

He sighed, so what if that happened, he still had to go east, otherwise he would become one of them.

But the defense of the Ming sentry tower is sufficient, relying on explosives and the supplies they just brought, as well as the trenches, barbed wire, walls, and bombs built by the empire.

No matter how many guys there are, they can't break through their defense line, because they have five heavy grenade guns!

But Alanbair soon realized that the place should be quite important, otherwise there would not be so many defensive forces, and it was directly adjacent to a certain greenskin tribe.

Then he smiled bitterly.

"Did I perform too well?"

Perhaps he was a little too hard, their team was definitely not as elite as they appeared. He pursed his lips, looked at the dark forest, and his thoughts became more and more distant.

Until a sudden war cry broke the silence, which was the sound he didn't want to hear in his life.

"waaaaagh!"

After that sound appeared, the entire sentry tower was like a clockwork, veterans climbed into the trenches, some drove heavy bombs, and the lieutenant was about to join the battlefield.

The lieutenant and the lieutenant entered the battle line, and their vigilant appearance was not at all like the old soldiers just now.

In just one minute, the soldiers filled the battle line. The sentry tower was not big, and attacks could appear from all directions of the forest.

The forest has changed from a dark and scary forest to a forest where a large number of greenskins can appear at any time and anywhere.

The air was as condensed as water, and there were the soldiers' gentle panting, and the sound of bullet chains and guns hitting metal.

His own soldiers arrived the latest, and the veterans took one minute, but they took two minutes, making the atmosphere awkward.

Many veterans who came back from the East pointed at them and commented that their platoon leader was probably not good enough.

Ailan Baier was too lazy to care, and he really couldn't compare with the veterans.

But the lieutenant suddenly grabbed his shoulders and hugged him with his legs in his arms.

"Don't point fingers, that kid is not my man! Don't accept it? Let's fight?!"

Alanbair pushed him away with a red face. "He doesn't need my protection. After he joined the tithe, he became a soldier of the Empire, not a civilian."

"And he accepted all our dissatisfaction with him. He would not ignore his shortcomings. If he could not face them and make up for them, he would be killed by the greenskins!"

The soldiers were silent. Facing such an awareness, which most ordinary people could not do on the battlefield, faced the reality that they were weak and useless.

Many people think they are special until the guns tell them that everything is false.

Soon the veterans had nothing to say, and Alanbair faced a warmer hug from the lieutenant...

"Ahem... Enough..." He pushed the strong woman away again. To be honest, his cheeks could feel soft. After all, she was not a beautiful woman.

But such ambiguity did not last long. When the buzzing sound roared, Alanbair was pulled back to the war.

That rumbling machine with black smoke, a large circular saw cut through the thick roots of ferns, causing them to fall.

"The God-Emperor is here, orc walkers, heavy bombs, shoot!"
