Chapter 65 "Duel Club"

Ever since Harry chased him around half the Quidditch field, the name of the liar professor has spread throughout Hogwarts. However, after Lockhart went directly to the "Defense Against the Dark Arts Study Club" and challenged all the members, his "Dueling Club" suddenly became popular.

Deng was originally very worried about this matter and discussed with Chen Bin whether to bring down the club.

Chen Bin suggested a few key points to him with a chuckle. Deng's eyes lit up and showed a sinister look, and then whispered a few words to Chen Bin. Chen Bin thought to himself that this old man was several levels higher than him when he was being mean.

The old man personally came to the "Dueling Club" to observe once, and highly praised Lockhart's dueling skills. This funny guy agreed to Snape to be the club's instructor.

Then, in the club's activities, Snape's chair every night was also aimed at Lockhart's back, and his wand slapped his palm rhythmically like a ruler. Whenever Lockhart used too much magic power when training students, Snape's wand would intentionally or unintentionally point at his back.

Lockhart was guided by the young Riddle in the diary, and his skills did improve explosively. He even had a dangerous intuition when he hid the diary on his body. However, he was essentially a wizard with low magic power, and he just suppressed the students and prevented them from fighting back by using his body skills and taking the initiative. The danger from Snape kept interfering with Lockhart's duel, and he was almost killed by the seventh-year students several times.

After persisting for two weeks, Lockhart finally decided not to fight in person, but to verbally instruct the students on their shortcomings in the duel.

Draco and Harry also participated in a duel event. Because Draco had been taught by the diary, even though Harry was obsessed with the "Defense Against the Dark Arts" battle, he was suppressed by him.

However, when he saw Chen Bin making a gesture of holding a shield and a staff beside him, Harry immediately remembered the riot control training during this period, and turned the floor into a translucent shield, while advancing step by step, relying on the shield to shoot spells.

The focus of Chen Bin's training of the shield formation is the wandless armor spell, which requires half of his mind to continuously release a very low-intensity armor spell on the shield, which will only burst out instantly when the spell hits the shield, and at the same time, the remaining mind is used to shoot attack spells with the staff.

The intensity of this kind of confrontation is not high, especially the attack power is seriously low, but the advantage is that it only consumes more magic power when the armor spell bursts, and the weakening of the attack spell saves the output of magic power.

To put it bluntly, the shield formation was originally a method of using a large number of weak hands to fight against the strong. No matter how strong the enemy is, it cannot withstand a group of low-consumption magicians who focus on defense and send out attack spells.

Harry and Draco were pure-blood and half-blood wizards of the same level, and their total magic power was not much different, but Draco was better at grasping the timing and rhythm than Harry, and Draco also knew some high-level spells.

However, Harry's shield fighting method was to be a turtle who attacked head-on. No matter how strong Draco's spell was, he only defended for half a second, and continued to move forward slowly while shooting a weakened version of the Disarming Spell.

As you and I fired spells at each other, Draco felt something was wrong.

He drew a burst of magic power with each spell, and was ready to dodge or burst the Iron Armor Defense at any time, while Harry didn't even shake when he hit the Iron Armor Spell, let alone break the defense. If this continued, Harry would use up all of Draco's magic power before he closed the distance.

Draco seemed to have discovered Harry's tactics, and immediately used up all his magic power to summon the big snake, intending to use the big snake's physical attack to pull Harry's shield away. Then, the story got back on track. Harry said "hiss" to the snake twice, and the snake stopped.

"This round, it's a draw." Chen Bin did not ask Lockhart for his opinion. He used a spell to control the snake to coil into a sphere, pulled Harry with one hand, and carried the snake ball with the other hand to leave the activity room.

As for the anger in Lockhart's eyes, Chen Bin continued to ignore it.

Hermione and Ron followed Chen Bin to his dormitory and said that his classmates had linked his knowledge of Parseltongue to the Chamber of Secrets murderer.

In other words, this incident confirmed Harry's name as a murderer.

After Harry heard the two explain that Parseltongue was a unique talent of Slytherin, his face became even paler, and no matter how he defended himself, it was a bit pale and powerless.

"Harry, we believe you too." Chen Bin patted his shoulder and smiled, "There is no need to question yourself at this time, and you don't need to care about the opinions of outsiders. As long as your friends believe it, it's fine."

Hermione and Ron also nodded firmly after hearing this.

Chen Bin took out the photo stone and asked Harry to sing a song to the snake ball, because he wanted to know the secret of the Parseltongue.

This reason was just to deceive the three people who were looking for death. The song he wanted Harry to sing was called "Open the door". He changed some words in the original lyrics and added words such as "Secret Chamber".

After Harry sang the Parseltongue version of the lyrics twice, Chen Bin said that he would cook for them personally and close the door to cook authentic Cantonese dinner for them.

Chen Bin saw that the three people were eating happily and knew that his cooking skills were not rusty. In his previous life, he lived with his father for 35 years. Although the cooking skills of the father and son were not professional, they could still beat British cuisine single-handedly.

"This meat soup is delicious. Why haven't you made it before?" Hermione finished one bowl and added another bowl.

"I think this lotus leaf rice is the best, especially the fish meat inside is very tasty." Ron didn't know how to use chopsticks, so he used a knife and fork to open the lotus leaf.

"This fried noodles with shredded pork is also very fresh and fragrant. What kind of meat did you use?" Harry picked up the second bowl of noodles with chopsticks.

“Don’t ask, just believe. Is it delicious?”
