Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts

Chapter 279 Why Does It Feel Like There Are Animagus Everywhere?

Rice is a man of action. Once he decides to go, he will not delay. After leaving a note for Daphne, he left Greengrass Manor and headed for Harry's home.

According to Harry himself, he lived in Privet Drive, Devonshire, and Rice went to this address.

Even an old wizard like Rice had never seen the protective spell on Harry. He was very curious about it and wanted to study it carefully, so he naturally couldn't miss the opportunity.

"Little Whinging, 4 Privet Drive." Rhys stood on the street and felt worried: although he knew Harry's specific address, Little Whinging was not a small place, and it was still very inconvenient to find it.

At this moment, Rhys felt a wave of magic.

In the Muggle gathering area, this undisguised magic fluctuation was particularly conspicuous, and Rhys's eyes lit up: this wizard was most likely Harry, who he was looking for.

But why is this guy so brave? Does he not take the "Statute of Secrecy" seriously? He dared to interpret the law outside the school because he was sure that the Ministry of Magic could not catch him. What was Harry's confidence?

Following the traces of the magic fluctuations, Les easily came to Privet Drive, and then he saw Harry dragging his suitcase and rushing out of a small villa with a birdcage under his arm.

Les:?

Harry:?!

The two looked at each other and were stunned at the same time. Les also heard the sound of ghosts and wolves howling from the villa behind Harry.

"Wait a minute." Les rushed into the house.

Les, who rushed into the house, found the source of the chaos just by the sound: a round spherical creature was floating in the restaurant of the Dursleys. A closer look showed that it was an old and ugly woman. Harry's uncle was holding the woman's legs to prevent her from floating out.

Les understood what the magic fluctuations just now were.

He looked around and saw that the people in the kitchen hadn't noticed him at all. Les didn't do anything, but secretly fired a spell at the woman who had turned into a ball, ending her expansion state, so that she wouldn't float out of the window.

It would be good for Harry to limit the chaos to the Dursleys' house - using magic in front of his uncle's family and using magic to cause hundreds of Muggles to see things they shouldn't see are two completely different things.

Les couldn't do anything more. When Harry chose to cast a spell outside the school, the matter was irreversible. The Ministry of Magic must have received an alarm, and officials from the Ministry might arrive at the scene in a few minutes. All Les could do was to help him reduce the impact.

After walking out of the Dursleys' house without looking back, Les looked at Harry who was in a daze on the side of the road.

Harry raised his head and said in a very bitter voice: "Les, I'm afraid I'm going to be expelled."

Les shook his head. Hogwarts would never expel you. Dumbledore pays special attention to you. However, it was not convenient for him to tell Harry these words, so he just told him that the matter was not as serious as he thought. The Ministry of Magic would not expel the "Boy Who Lived" for such a small matter.

But looking at Harry's appearance, he seemed not to believe his own words. This was normal. After all, he was still a little wizard who was not even in the third grade. He was still deeply afraid of the laws of the Ministry of Magic and had no clear understanding of his identity.

"What do you mean, what are your plans next?" Les felt that after doing such a "big thing", Harry might not want to stay at the Dursleys' house.

Les's question made Harry's messy mind clear up a little. He had no money for Muggles, only a few wizard coins, and the inheritance left to him by his parents was all in Gringotts Wizarding Bank...

So no matter what he was going to do next, he had to go to Gringotts and withdraw the money from it.

"I'm going to London, Gringotts." Harry said very confidently.

"Okay." Les thought this was a good idea. Going to Diagon Alley was safer than going to those corners.

Les took Harry to the nearby street, then took out his wand and summoned the Knight Bus.

"What is this?!" Harry was stunned by the giant three-decker bus that appeared out of thin air.

"Knight Bus! Emergency passenger transportation for witches or wizards in distress. Just hold out your wand and get on the bus, and we can take you anywhere you want to go--" The conductor Stan Shunpike answered Harry's confusion.

Harry struggled to carry his box and owl cage onto the bus. Les wanted to follow him, but he suddenly changed his mind because he found that he and Harry were being watched by some creature from the dark.

He turned his head and found a surprisingly large, dirty black dog squatting in the corner of the street staring at them.

Les blinked: Good man, why are there Animagus all over the street? Why do modern wizards like this useless spell so much?

"I wish you a safe trip." Les stood outside the car door and waved to Harry.

"You——?" Harry turned around, a little flustered: Les's departure made him feel like a drowning man who had lost his last straw.

"I still have something to deal with. Don't worry, you just need to sleep on the bus, and you will arrive at Diagon Alley when you wake up. I will wait for you there." Les gave Harry a reassurance.

As for waiting for him in Diagon Alley, Les might have to break his promise, because he dared to bet a thousand Galleons that Harry would be blocked by the Ministry of Magic within three minutes of entering Diagon Alley. This kid doesn't know the trick of escaping after committing a crime!

But it's not a serious crime anyway, the sooner it's over, the sooner it's over, the sooner it's over. Dumbledore probably doesn't bother to deal with it.

After sending Harry away, Les looked at the place where he had just seen the black dog and found that it had disappeared without a trace.

"Is it an employee of the Ministry of Magic? But it doesn't seem like it, otherwise we should have been stopped here." Les muttered in a low voice and walked towards the Dursleys' house.

He also wanted to study the magic attached to the house, but he was in a hurry just now and didn't have time to take a closer look.

At the Dursleys' house, Rice made a new discovery: the house was attached with a layer of magical power, which seemed to be inextricably linked to Harry. The two formed a very magical magic circuit that Rice had never seen before.

After studying it carefully for a while, Rice felt that the function of this spell should be to prevent people who were not trusted by Harry from finding the house - this opened Rice's eyes.

After writing down the magic circuit, Rice heard a few crisp explosions, and he realized that the staff responsible for the aftermath of the Ministry of Magic had arrived.

After casting an illusion spell on himself, Rice was about to leave, but stopped because of the conversation between the staff of the Ministry of Magic.
