Chapter 20: The Bad FBI Agent

Turn your sight back to Osborn Manor. Norman, Harry and Peter are standing on the lawn of the manor, watching the servants cleaning up the mess left by the fight between Gwen and the Lizardman.

"I'm sorry, Peter." Norman looked at Peter, with a little apology on his face: "I originally invited you to my house to let you and Harry have a good rest and relax, but I didn't expect such a thing to happen."

"It's okay, Mr. Norman." Peter looked at Norman's apologetic look, and waved his hands in embarrassment: "Harry and I are friends. Of course, I won't stand idly by when something like this happens."

"Harry is lucky to have a friend like you." Norman patted Peter's shoulder, looked at the villa that was exposed to a small part of the damage due to Professor Connors' attack, and turned to look at Harry beside Peter: "Harry, it seems that you can only go to the guest room to rest these days."

Harry smacked his lips and said with some regret: "There is no way, who made us unlucky to encounter such a thing. I wanted Peter to stay at home tonight, but now it seems that there is no hope."

"It's okay, Harry, I originally planned to take over Aunt May to go to the hospital to take care of Uncle Ben at night." Peter whispered to Harry.

"Sir." Just as Norman was watching the two little guys whispering, Butler Warren walked up to him quickly and pointed to a figure standing not far away in a low voice: "The FBI is here."

"FBI?" Norman frowned tightly: "Why are they here?"

"It was a few servants who were weeding in the manor just now. They saw the lizard man, so they called the police." Butler Warren said helplessly.

"Then why are the FBI people here?" Norman said dissatisfiedly: "Since you called the police, the people who came should be from the police station."

"You know that the FBI guys are as hungry as mice that smell cheese at some times." Butler Warren shrugged and asked Norman: "Do you need me to get rid of that guy?"

"Forget it, I'll go by myself." Norman shrugged the collar of his nightgown in annoyance, and followed Butler Warren to the FBI agent.

When Norman approached the FBI agent, the female agent was taking photos of the scene inside the manor with her mobile phone to collect evidence.

"Agent, you took photos in the private manor without my consent. Isn't this an invasion of my privacy?" Norman frowned and scolded the female agent who didn't know the rules: "Just for this one, I can take you FBI to court and ask the Ministry of Finance to reduce the subsidy for your department this year."

"Sorry, sir." The female agent took back the phone in her hand with some embarrassment, and apologized to Norman in a somewhat restrained manner: "I have just been transferred to the FBI and don't know the rules very well."

Hearing what the female agent said, Norman signaled Butler Warren with his eyes.

Butler Warren nodded slightly, walked to the female agent with a smile, and stretched out his hand to her: "So, ma'am, please give me the phone you used to take pictures just now. I need to ensure that our gentleman's privacy is not violated."

"Oh, okay." The female agent hurriedly took out the phone she had just put in her pocket and handed it to Butler Warren.

"So ma'am, explain why you are here." While Butler Warren was checking the female agent's phone, Norman asked her first.

"Ah?" The female agent opened her mouth and stammered: "But, but shouldn't I ask the question first at this time?"

"Any questions?" Norman looked down at her.

"Okay, okay." The female agent shrank her head and whispered: "I was called here by the chief. He said something happened here and asked me to come and investigate."

"Is that so?" Norman looked at the female agent's face full of bullying and nodded in understanding.

After his observation, he almost understood the situation of the young agent in front of him.

The rookie agent who just arrived at the FBI should have a very bad relationship with the leader, and he will always be assigned to do some insignificant errands.

Today's incident should be just a coincidence.

When Norman thought of this, he finally let go of the hanging heart in his heart. With this rookie agent, he probably couldn't find anything.

"Sir." After checking the female agent's mobile phone, Butler Warren nodded to Norman, and then returned the phone to the female agent.

"Ah, my photos~" The female agent who got the phone back looked at the album that had been deleted completely, and uttered a wail.

"Don't get excited, ma'am." Norman took the checkbook and pen handed over by Butler Warren, wrote the amount of one thousand dollars on it, tore off the check, and handed it to the female agent.

"This is your tea money. When you go back, just report to your boss and say that nothing happened here."

"Hey, this," the female agent said in a panic, holding the check in her hand. It can be seen that this is the first time she has received this so-called tea money.

"Don't worry, ma'am." Butler Warren comforted the female agent, "As long as you don't say anything, nothing will happen, and your boss won't blame you, so you can take this money with peace of mind."

"Okay." Under the comfort of Butler Warren, the female agent could only put the check into her arms with trembling hands.

"Warren, send this Miss Agent out." Norman nodded towards Butler Warren, and then walked back to where Peter and Harry were.

"Let's go, ma'am." Butler Warren smiled and stretched out his hand towards the female agent.

"Um."

Butler Warren stopped after he sent the female agent to the gate of the manor.

"Then Madam, I will send you here first." Butler Warren politely took out a business card: "This is my business card. If your leader troubles you later because of this matter, you can give it to me. Call us and we’ll find a way to help you solve this problem.”

"Thank you sir." The female agent nodded excitedly to Butler Warren, turned around and walked towards the car parked outside the gate.

"Yes ma'am."

Just as the female agent was about to open the car door, Butler Warren stopped her.

"Can you please reveal your name?" Butler Warren said with a smile to the female agent who turned her head: "I can't always call you ma'am when we meet again in the future. This is a bit too impolite."

"Hill." The female agent smiled at Warren: "Maria Hill."
