Statement
I don’t want to argue, I just want to tell you the objective facts.
Broken bones and being pecked by parrots are all facts, and I don’t intend to use this as a reason to stop updating.
You can clench your fist and look at your hand. Can you see four protrusions on the back of your hand?
My right hand now only has two protrusions, and the fourth and fifth phalanges are flattened.
The plaster on my hand is still on, and photos have been taken, with and without plaster, and one hand is as swollen as a steamed bun. I have posted it in Moments and groups. That is to say, Zongheng does not have the function to post pictures, otherwise the photos will be sent directly.
Even so, I haven't stopped updating, just fewer and slower.
I was bitten by a parrot yesterday, so I updated more than 2,000 words on Xianlu. Instead of updating less, I updated more - after the fracture, I usually update more than 1,000 words.
For those who say that I am looking for excuses to postpone updates, I really don’t know where to start.
I said those words not to complain to anyone, I just thought it was fun.
After all, it is relatively rare to be bitten by a parrot, and it is a continuous injury, so I posted it to make everyone laugh.
So when I said that yesterday, I didn’t mean to complain at all, I just thought it was an extra story.
I am an author, so I have to make up a story if I don’t have one, let alone the truth.
If I had to complain, I could just state how troublesome it is to type with one hand. Because that's not just a matter of slowing things down, it's also a distraction.
In the past, at least I didn’t need to think about typing when writing code novels. Now I have to find a keyboard while thinking about novels. It’s so distracting!
So some people don’t want to judge a gentleman with a villain’s heart——
Finally, let’s summarize.
Last year, the toenail on my right big toe was kicked off.
I had a blood blister on my left foot last month and it didn't heal until three days after the fracture.
Then came the broken right hand.
My left hand was bitten yesterday.
For a whole year, all my limbs were injured, I had rhinitis surgery, and I was diagnosed with diabetes.
It can be said that there are many disasters.
But that’s not what I want to summarize.
Which one hurts more.
I believe many people would not have thought that among all my experiences, the one that caused me the most pain was actually the blood blisters.
That was the only one that made me admit defeat and couldn't bear it, so I ran over and asked for a dressing change (I'm fairly pain-resistant, as the doctor said when he set my bones).
It's not the pain of breaking your muscles and bones, but the pain that acts directly on the nerves and makes your whole body paralyzed.
Then there are the parrots.
This thing definitely bit into the bone, otherwise it wouldn't hurt so much, but fortunately it lasted only a short time.
The third is toenails being kicked off.
Of course, the most painful thing I am referring to is the peak pain. In terms of duration of pain, toenails rank first, and blood blisters rank second.
Finally there is a fracture.
Of course, I’m not saying that all fractures are the least painful. I was in the hospital for two days, and there was a patient with a comminuted fracture in the bed next to me, and he screamed in a sad voice.
I guess he must not support my division.
In fact, as far as I am concerned, everything is experience.
For example, only after being bitten by a parrot will you know how amazing the bite force of a seemingly inconspicuous bird is.
And a minute after I was bitten by a parrot, my first thought was: If a parrot is so cruel, how cruel can an eagle be? It seems that I still underestimated the lethality of birds. Next time I write a book, I might consider bringing an eagle to the protagonist...
Just like that, the association opened up.
This is my habit, I like to summarize, draw experiences, conclusions, and associations...
Here's what I offer to make everyone laugh, and read it as a story.
