One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight. Just Want One Battle
After listening to what Qu Su said, the Buddha immediately sighed: "I am here precisely because of the Buddha's order. Please think twice, senior brother."
"My Buddha is merciful. I have been waiting for this day. I have been thinking about it day and night without stopping for a moment. I have already thought about it very clearly." Qu Su replied: "The revenge of the master must be avenged."
His master, Sword Buddha, died about four hundred years ago because Yan Zhaoge and other members of the Taoist sect went to Yuquan Realm to search for the ancient sword that trapped the immortal.
Qu Su himself was at the scene and watched helplessly as Sword Buddha died in front of him but failed to stop him.
Later, when Yan Zhaoge and others were looking for the Zhuxian ancient sword, Qu Su also fought with them and returned frustrated.
Since then, Qu Su has been living in the White Lotus Pure Land, focusing on cultivation, and even rarely participated in the heretical war between the White Lotus Pure Land and the Immortal Court.
"Brother, why are you so persistent?" the Buddha on the opposite side sighed.
"It's funny." Qu Su replied calmly: "After all, I am my master's disciple."
This remark is a pun, not only referring to his relationship with Sword Buddha, but also referring to the general stubbornness of the two masters and disciples.
In the past, Sword Buddha was obsessed with the exploration and advancement of his own swordsmanship. He spent his whole life studying it, and eventually became a Buddhist heretic.
Qu Su is calm and indifferent most of the time, but on some matters, he is as paranoid as Sword Buddha.
The path followed by the master and the disciple is extremely contrary to the Buddha's teachings, and the three poisons of greed, anger, and ignorance are always there.
They have achieved great success in the Tao, and in terms of Buddhism, even if they are heretics, they can be regarded as unusual.
However, perhaps it is precisely because of this that their kendo was born and developed.
It's so subtle that the world marvels at it, and it's so elusive.
"Senior brother wants to avenge the Master, but the descendants of the Sanqing Dynasty are not what they used to be. You are afraid that it will be difficult to see the face of your enemy. The other party hides, and you can do nothing?" The Buddha advised with bitter words: "Like that Yang Jian, Not to mention Suo Mingzhang and Feng Yunsheng, among the descendants of the Sanqing Dynasty, Nezha, the great god of the Santan Haihui, is still alive, which may also prevent you from taking revenge. "
He only said that there were many Taoist masters who might prevent Qu Su from seeking revenge on Yan Zhaoge and others. He did not even mention that Yan Zhaoge was pregnant with the golden body of the Great Sage, and that it was more likely that the true body of the Great Sage Qitian would reappear.
Even if he didn't mention it, I believe Qu Su himself must know it.
He didn't say anything out loud, mostly because he was afraid of embarrassing Qu Su.
But the young man in monk's robes with troubled hair in front of him looked calm and indifferent, and seemed unmoved.
The Buddha paused for a while and then said: "Nezha went to the Western heretics to seek revenge and challenge the ancient Buddha of Ran Deng. The Lotus Buddha Dharma Buddha also went there, waiting for the opportunity, intending to find an opportunity to end the cause and effect with Nezha, but... …Why!"
Hearing this sigh, Qu Su knew that the result was probably that the Buddha who preached Dharma on the lotus platform would perish instead.
"Cause and effect are like this, fate is like this, senior brother Jin Zha is like this, and so am I." Qu Suping said calmly: "Whether it is those Yan Zhaoge people or other direct descendants of the Sanqing Dynasty, if I fall into their hands, it will also be my fate. That’s why.”
The Buddha on the opposite side advised: "Even if senior brother is obsessed with this and must overcome this obstacle, there is no need to be so impatient and patiently plan for it. I, the Buddha, will make arrangements and there will always be a chance."
"There is no need to wait any longer." Qu Su said and smiled slightly: "I can feel that after completing my merits today, I have reached the peak of my Daluo level. No matter how much time I wait, , I can’t be stronger than I am now.”
"In the Dao realm, there is no hope for me now. The cause and effect of my master's relationship cannot be resolved. The longer time goes by, the more I will gradually regress."
He took off the long sword hanging from his waist, pulled the blade out of the scabbard, looked at the watery sword light, and said softly: "Now is the most appropriate time."
Qu Su turned his head to look at the Buddha, smiled and said: "Buddha has great supernatural powers, so he knows my current situation."
There is no need to belittle oneself, Qu Su is extremely important to the White Lotus Pure Land today.
Because he doesn't take care of things very much, his status is not considered to be the second highest figure in White Lotus Pure Land after Maitreya Buddha.
But in terms of personal strength, he ranks first among all the Buddhas in the White Lotus Pure Land.
The strongest existence under the future Buddha Maitreya.
In recent years, the White Lotus Pure Land has gained momentum and suppressed the Immortal Court. The Immortal Court's life has been difficult, but it can still be dealt with.
A considerable part of the reason is because Qu Su rarely participates in battles, otherwise Xianting's troubles would be even greater.
As for Qu Su's death, if he falls into the hands of the Taoist sect, it will naturally be a huge loss to the White Lotus Pure Land.
But Maitreya Buddha also knew that if Qu Su was suppressed and refused to let him go, the Buddhist sword would naturally wear out and become weaker and weaker, which would be equivalent to a waste.
Therefore, even though he knew that Qu Su might not get a good deal if he left, Maitreya Buddha still remained silent and let things go.
"Things in the world are unpredictable. Maybe my enemies will fall into the hands of others tomorrow. Maybe I will survive and live a mediocre life, and one day I will see their demise, and I may even have the opportunity to add insult to injury." Qu Su said slowly: "Maybe they will one day drag me out of my hiding place."
When the Buddha heard this, he wanted to say something, but his lips moved and no sound came out.
"That's not what I want." Qu Su smiled: "I will avenge my master, or die in the hands of other descendants of the Three Purities, or die in the hands of my enemies, no matter which outcome is fine."
"Right now, when I am at my strongest, I will try my best to end this all myself. This is what I want."
After saying that, he pushed the sword back into its sheath, then nodded to the comrades in front of him, stood on the white lotus, and slowly rose outward.
The Buddha looked at Qu Su with a complicated look, and after a slight silence, he said: "The one who caused the Lotus Platform Dharma Buddha to pass away was not Nezha, but Yan Zhaoge."
After killing the Lotus Platform Dharma Buddha, Yan Zhaoge did not block the Buddha's light of vows from returning to the White Lotus Pure Land.
For him now, there is no need to cover up the killing of the outsiders.
Because of the Zhuxian Formation, even if a stronger master from the outsiders came quickly to take revenge, the highest level is Daluo, and it is impossible for Wuliang Tianzun or the future Buddha to take action personally.
Therefore, the White Lotus Pure Land can clearly know who took action.
"Yan Zhaoge?" Qu Su's eyes lit up slightly: "Is he near the Western Buddhist land?"
"I don't know where he is now, but the Wuji Xinghuang Flag may appear. He is most likely to go with other descendants of the Three Pure Ones to seek this treasure again." The Buddha said: "Brother, you might as well go and have a look."
"There are many masters there now, but the situation is chaotic. The major forces are intertwined and entangled with each other. It is better for you to seek revenge on Yan Zhaoge directly, which is better than breaking into the fortresses of many descendants of the Three Pure Ones as usual."
After thanking him, Qu Su sat cross-legged on the white lotus, and was carried by the white lotus to fly out of this Buddhist country and the White Lotus Pure Land.
