A Magical Journey Starting at Hogwarts

Chapter 391 Abe’s Highlight Moment, Facing the Exploding-Tailed Skrewt?

Harry and the other two wrote a letter to Percy, asking him about Barty Crouch's recent situation.

For the next period of time, in addition to using owls to regularly bring food to Sirius, they waited for Percy's reply.

In the Care of Magical Creatures class, Hagrid finished teaching about unicorns.

This time he took out some boxes again. Just when everyone was worried about whether there were newly hatched skrewts in them, Hagrid opened the boxes triumphantly.

Inside were many platypus-like creatures, with black hair and flat front paws like shovels.

"Is this... Niffler?"

"Very discerning, Mr. Gaius." Hagrid praised, "You can usually find them in the mines. Nifflers like shiny things the most..."

At this time, the Nifflers in the box seemed to smell something.

Dozens of Nifflers suddenly jumped out of the box and rushed towards Aaron.

"Fuck!"

Aaron subconsciously cursed.

Before he could react, Abe jumped out of his arms and roared to meet him.

The fourth-year students of Slytherin and Gryffindor colleges were enlightened. Except for a few people who knew Abe's race, others thought it was a story of a cat fighting dozens of platypuses.

Abe was like a tiger entering a flock of sheep, waving his claws and tail quickly, killing all around, and the black Nifflers were thrown away one by one by the white holy dragon.

Two minutes later, there was only a white cat standing proudly in the middle of the venue, with one of its front paws pressing on a Niffler and another in its mouth.

"Too, too awesome, this class is really worth it." Seamus said in admiration, and couldn't help but applauded.

The same was true for others, and there was thunderous applause for a while.

Abe became the most beautiful cub in the audience, and completely regained the limelight that was stolen by the two unicorn cubs. If it weren't for the wrong occasion, it would have the urge to roar to the sky.

Bang!

A big hand pressed directly on its dragon head and lifted it up.

The two subdued Nifflers ran to Hagrid's side as if they had been pardoned, and they obviously knew who had the ability to protect them here.

"Hagrid, I'm sorry." Aaron said embarrassedly, and then waved his wand, and all the Nifflers in the field flew into Hagrid's box.

"Uh... It's okay, it's really okay." Hagrid said excitedly.

He liked dragons the most, and it was still very exciting to see Abe's battle up close.

Besides, Abe was very measured in his actions, and his Nifflers were not hurt.

Aaron looked at Abe with a bad look, "Explain it!"

"Don't embarrass it, I may know what's going on." Hagrid said with a smile, "The Niffler's favorite thing is gold coins. It must be the things in Abe's pocket that attracted them."

Hearing this, Aaron's mouth twitched slightly.

Abe kept nodding. Last year, his master spent a lot of gold to buy feathers of those magical animals, but it hurt him for a long time.

Although he was reluctant to part with them that time, he had nothing to say, but this time he could not bear it.

A group of platypuses actually dared to covet his wealth and rushed up to rob it openly. Do they really think that the Holy Dragon has no temper?

"Continue the class. The Sniff is a famous treasure hunter. You can have fun today." Hagrid smiled and pointed to a large piece of newly turned land. "I buried some gold coins there. You can pick a Sniff each.

Whoever picks the Sniff and digs out the most gold coins will be awarded by me.

You must be careful to take away all the valuables on your body, otherwise the Sniff will steal them if you are not careful."

The students took off their watches and necklaces, emptied their pockets, and then stepped forward to receive the Sniff.

These magical animals that resemble platypuses are not as dangerous as skrewts, nor are they as wary of humans as unicorns. On the contrary, they are very docile and friendly to humans.

Treasure hunting began soon. The speed of the Nifflers in digging the soil was no slower than that of the groundhogs. They dug out gold coins one by one and handed them to their owners.

Ron had the most harvest. The Niffler he chose dug out several times more gold coins than others. It was a rare experience of the happiness of the rich.

Aaron had the least harvest, because his Niffler would look back at Abe's pocket after digging a few times. Obviously, a beating could not stop its love for gold coins.

When the get out of class was over, Hagrid took back all the gold coins and gave Ron a large piece of chocolate as a reward.

"I really want to buy one as a pet." Ron said from the bottom of his heart.

"You'd better not." Hagrid said, "Nifflers are great at finding treasures, but they are also the best at destroying houses. I don't want your mother to write to me and scold me."

Ron smiled awkwardly and was reluctant to return the Niffler.

In the next few weeks, everything seemed particularly stable, but Hermione often received some malicious letters accusing her of playing with other people's feelings, which made her tolerance for Rita Skeeter reach its limit.

At the end of the Easter holiday, Harry's owl Hedwig flew back with Percy's reply.

Harry called Aaron and opened the letter in the Transfiguration classroom.

His letter was not long, only a few lines, but he seemed quite impatient.

Mr. Crouch worked too hard. I didn't see him in person. Many things were sent by owl, but I would never mistake my boss's handwriting.

I am very busy at the moment. Don't disturb me unless it is something important.

"Hmm..." After reading the letter, Aaron rubbed his chin and pondered for a while, "My intuition tells me that Barty Crouch is in trouble."

"But Percy said there was nothing wrong with his handwriting." Ron said puzzledly, "Maybe he is really seriously ill."

"Maybe! But I still believe in my intuition."

"It's best not to speculate without definite evidence." Hermione said seriously, "Mr. Crouch is the director of the Ministry of Magic after all, and we are just a few fourth-year wizards. No one will believe us for no reason."

Aaron couldn't deny it, and then looked at Harry, "No matter what Crouch's current situation is, we can't control it, but you need to prepare early."

"I understand." Harry nodded, and then said depressedly: "But the last project of the Triwizard Tournament has not been announced yet, I don't know how to prepare even if I want to."

"Then find a way to improve your own strength. The last project must be related to the strength of the warriors."

"Are you so sure?" Ron said with some doubt.

"Remember what Hagrid said when he first took out the blasting-tailed skrewt?" Aaron said meaningfully, "It was prepared for a big project."

The three looked at each other, then thought of something and swallowed their saliva together.

Hermione frowned and said solemnly, "Are you saying that the warriors of the Triwizard Tournament may have to face the blasting-tailed skrewt?"

"Correction, it's an adult blasting-tailed skrewt.

If nothing unexpected happens, they should be able to grow to more than three meters tall."

Hearing this, Harry's face turned pale. He didn't think he could beat such a monster.

"It's OK!" Ron forced a smile and said stiffly, "Most of the blasting-tailed skrewts are dead. There shouldn't be many left now!"

"I don't deny this, but it shows that there are more than just blasting-tailed skrewts in the third project. There may be other dangerous creatures. At least five warriors should have one each!"

Harry pursed his lips with difficulty and said, "Any suggestions?"

"Hehe!" Aaron's mouth twitched, and he said speechlessly, "I won't talk about the attack spells. You know some of them, but the defensive ones..."

"Ironclad Charm?" Hermione said without thinking.

"Yes, there are still about two months left. You'd better learn this spell.

It is more or less a guarantee for life safety."

Harry Potter:......

......

Time passed slowly, and it was the last week of May in a blink of an eye.

That day, Professor Snape told Aaron to go to the Quidditch field at nine o'clock in the evening, and Mr. Bagman would tell the warriors what the third project was.

That night, Aaron set off half an hour early and met Harry and Cedric in the hallway.

"What do you think it is?" Cedric asked with interest. "Fleur said it would be an underground tunnel. She thought we were looking for treasure."

"Ms. Maxime probably told her." Aaron smiled and shook his head. "We learned about the Niffler in the Care of Magical Creatures class some time ago. It seems that Ms. Maxime misunderstood something."

"The situation may be more difficult than you think." Harry glanced at Aaron inconspicuously. Seeing that he didn't react, he continued: "If nothing unexpected happens, we may have to deal with the blasting-tailed skrewt."

"What?" Cedric suddenly lost his composure. "Are you kidding?"

Although he was in the seventh grade, he also knew a little about Hagrid's blasting-tailed skrewt. Rita Skeeter also wrote about the cruelty of that creature in the newspaper.

"Not sure, but there is a high possibility."

The three crossed the lawn and entered the range of the stadium.

But as soon as they entered, Harry and Cedric became angry. The Quidditch field seemed to be gone.

The stadium was no longer flat and smooth, and the goals were also dismantled and replaced by a green foliage plant.

These plants form walls, intricately connected together, winding in all directions.

"This is interesting." Aaron said half-jokingly, "But I don't like this kind of level very much, it's too complicated."

"Especially there are all kinds of monsters in it." Harry added with a wry smile.

"You are here." Bagman shouted in the middle of the court, with Krum and Furong standing next to him.

The three looked at each other, walked through these not-so-tall plants, and walked to the middle.

"I believe you should have guessed what the last project is, right?"
